There are some recipes that need to be passed down, like this booter polao (Rice and Black Chickpeas). My mom makes this every Ramadan, and I made sure to get the recipe from her this time around. Zakariya helped as well!
Mom guilt is real. Some days, I’m busy with work and can’t spend much time with Z, and it gets to me.
