Andorra – a beautiful country nestled in the Pyrenees mountains in between Spain and France. I’ll be honest – I never heard of this country before planning my trip to Spain in the Fall. We decided to make a trip out of it, and so glad we did! It’s become one of my favourite countries, and I hope you add it to your list!
Because of the small size, Andorra doesn’t have an airport or even a train station. The only way to get there is by bus. We booked our tickets on the Omio App, from Barcelona Sants to Andorra for about $60 each way. After 3 hours, we reached Andorra La Vella.
We stayed at Hotel Suites Plaza Hotel & Wellness Andorra which was minutes from the bus station. Highly recommend this hotel, we absolutely loved our stay! From the warm welcome at the front desk, the comfort of our room, the central location in town and the breakfast! Oh the breakfast selection was fantastic!
Andorra is surrounded by the most beautiful Pyrenees mountains. You can hire a car and drive around the country, but we decided to do a day bus tour. We went around the whole country, and saw some of the most stunning views! It felt like Switzerland. We stopped at a few places to take pictures and at a restaurant for lunch.
While our time in Andorra was short, it was quite the beautiful adventure!
